On the past October 12th, the Técnico Innovation Center hosted the world’s largest programming class, officially certified by Guinness World Records!
The event featured inspiring lectures by renowned professors Inês Lynce, Arlindo Oliveira, and Rodrigo Girão Serrão, who led the massive class, attended by 1,668 students eager to learn and make history.
We were also thrilled to present the latest FST Lisboa prototype, the FST13, to the audience. This was an exciting moment to showcase our team’s cutting-edge work in automotive technology alongside this historic milestone for both the university and Portugal.
Organized by Instituto Superior Técnico and Magma Studio, this remarkable achievement highlights Portugal's growing influence in the global tech scene. The class not only marked a new world record but also underscored Instituto Superior Técnico’s reputation as Portugal’s leading engineering university. This accomplishment reflects the strength of our community and our commitment to innovation and excellence in technology.
